nhtravels Posted March 28, 2023 #1 Share Posted March 28, 2023 We are a multi-generational family heading on the NCL Joy in May. Myself (54,F), DH (53), DS (27), DDIL (28) and 3 beautiful grands (5, 2.5 and 8 mos.) plus DBIL (55) and DSIL (52). DH and myself have never cruised to Bermuda but all the other adults have been. It's a bucket list for me, and if it's as beautiful as I imagine, I expect we'll repeat this trip often! Any good recommendations for family friendly ideas? We are thinking of chartering a catamaran one day for a few hours. And I was planning on Hamilton Nights.
1025cruise Posted March 28, 2023 #2 Share Posted March 28, 2023 Check on Hamilton nights, I don't think they start until June. There's Horseshoe Bay beach, accessible by van at the port. There are caves.

njhorseman Posted March 29, 2023 #4 Share Posted March 29, 2023 In addition to the already mentioned Horseshoe Bay and Crystal and Fantasy Caves, there's the National Museum of Bermuda, which is located in the Dockyard a short stroll from your ship and has (or at least had at one time) a children's playground Admission is free for children underage 16. Also consider the Bermuda Aquarium and Zoo and the Bermuda Underwater Exploration Institute for family-friendly activities. Also on the Dockyard grounds is Bermuda Fun Golf, an upscale mini golf course.
