Seascape Bars open while in Cayman

On a Celebrity cruise in February there was much confusion about the bars being open onboard while anchored off Grand Cayman.

Upon arrival all bars were closed. We were told it was a new “ordinance” effective January 1st by the Cayman Government.  You can imagine the reaction of the guests who elected to stay onboard, especially those who had beverage packages. About 3pm suddenly the pool bar opened.  I will be in Cayman in two weeks and would appreciate an update from those who have been on Seascape in Cayman recently.

I was on Beyond in Feb. I believe they were allowed to have one bar open per deck.

We were on Seascape couple weeks ago, there were some bars open on ship, cannot remember exactly which ones, had beverage package so would definitely would have remembered if I could not use it, ha.

Maybe the Caymans are trying to make up some of the lost revenue they incurred by closing their borders to cruisers for so long during the pandemic?

I remember both bars being open on the Seascape over spring break 2 weeks ago, so they aren’t all closed.
