Bar tab extended?

I remember they extended the Deep Blue Extras, hoping they go another month since I'm cruising in May.  In the case of my December cruise, the bar tab was a promotional freebie, so I don't know if the $100 SeaRover would still get added?

No bonus added to free bar tabs.  Good wishes on getting the DBE extended.....it has already been extended twice, so who knows?

The SeaRover bonus won't be added if you have a super sweet deal either, but that's ok.  My May cruise is a crazy deal AND pre-mermaiden, so I feel lucky to be included!

I’m booked on my 6th cruise in 2023 leaving May 3rd. Neither Deep Blue extras nor the $100 bonus bar tab are showing up on this booking like they did on my previous 5 bookings. 😳

Deep Blue is scheduled to end on 4/30, but the $100 bonus on purchased bar tabs booked at normal rates (not casino, TA rates, or whatever) is supposed to continue thru 2024 for Sea Rovers.  Guess we'll see what they do.

The best Sea Rover and/or Deep Blue extra perk is early boarding IMHO.  I'm hoping this doesn't change or go away on May 1st.  VV has been mum about the future of the Sailors Club so I may not find out until May 3th.

I'm hoping it's just they have something like a systems issue matching off the previous spending to accounts to work out what level each sailor will be placed on. I know I cannot track what I have spent onboard, so no idea how they will lol 

The open boarding times are a good perk, and on the 14 nights Voyages the bag of ashing was also a really useful perk. My other half liked the daily coffee spend as he could get a cold one to drink by the pool.

Our company learned early on that our customers liked 'good news', were OK with 'bad news', but HATED 'no news'.  The fastest way to lose customers is the combination of inconsistency with poor or no communication.

 

VV's On-line Chat has been overwhelmed and basically offline this week.

i just find it odd that we're <2 weeks away from May 1 and still not a peep.  my (based on absolutely no fact haha) guess is they'll extend till the end of June but make some tweaks to the benefits - maybe $200 bar tab instead of the daily coffee credit?  no social event?  guess we'll (hopefully!) find out soon!

And this link explains why I'm seeing (-$1200 airfare credits) when poking around looking for future cruises.  Free $1200 airfare credit unless you don't need air then $1200 discount 🙂

I don't believe they announced the extension of the 3/31 expiration of DBE until 4/1.  I was waiting with fingers crossed that it would be extended thru my April cruise.

They "tweaked" the benefits as of 1/1/2023; I don't know if there will be more tweaking if DBE is further extended.  I'm just happy to have in one my sailing in a few days.

I have my TA working on this question with VV.  Hope he has more luck than I had.

I applied for DBE the day it was announced that it would be extended into April and was able to get approved in time for my 4/9 cruise.

I too got my DBEs on my April cruise but not yet on my May cruise.  TBD is the word on the street.
