brymern Posted April 3, 2023 #1 Share Posted April 3, 2023 Are you allowed to take a travel mug of coffee (or other beverages) off the ship with you to walk around the port areas? Or do the rules vary by location?
mz-s Posted April 3, 2023 #2 Share Posted April 3, 2023 (edited) In general you are not allowed. Enforcement obviously varies. I have seen guests be made to pour out drinks before they can get off the ship, or get back on the ship, before. Sealed drinks are fine - this is what my wife and I use our large bottles of water as returning guests for. Edited April 3, 2023 by mz-s
Mic101680 Posted April 3, 2023 #3 Share Posted April 3, 2023 I've never tried to take anything other than water off the ship, and have never been asked to dump my reusable water bottle or stopped to have it inspected when getting on or off the ship while in port. Could you be stopped or asked to dump it? Absolutely.
Rare BlerkOne Posted April 3, 2023 #4 Share Posted April 3, 2023 You can certainly take an empty mug off and fill on shore.
