New RCCL Visa Promotion - 4x points

Has anyone else gotten this promotion? I am sailing in a few weeks and wondering if I can book a next cruise (and get those onboard perks) and also get the 4x points?

You should be able to get the points. In the past promos like this one, the only things that didn't qualify were on board purchases like alcohol, meals, etc. that show up on your end-of-cruise statement. Booking a next cruise while on board is billed directly to your CC and never shows up on the cruise invoice, and those Next Cruise purchases have always qualified in the past..

I got it using our Celebrity VISA card to pay for 2 RCCL cruises---and wasn't even expecting it!  I was wondering why each cruise was showing 9,000+ bonus points.  And, I was able to purchase OBC for this cruise using our Celebrity points---I didn't know they were interchangeable.

when i saw april, i paid up my august cruise and the points go toward lots of obc.

If they would run the points earning rate like this all the time, it may actually be a worthwhile card to use. Otherwise, the card is low tier.

I wish I had known.  I would have paid off my Panama Canal cruise off early.

A friend and a great TA told me about it the last weekend in April, so I was lucky enough to pay off several cruises through February of 2024 including a long Panama Canal cruise! Lots of points to use for OBC! Very happy! Cheers!
