Or do you just use your normal sail away card so can accumulate points? I haven't sailed on Carnival since the pandemic, but in those days, I never got a separate players card for my casino play. I assume this is still true. I'm sure I'll get jumped on if it isn't. Also, it might be a different story for known gamblers and/or those with free casino drink privileges.

sc4125 Posted April 18, 2023 #53 Share Posted April 18, 2023 I won right at $1900 on the Mardi Gras last year - my sister won $2500 a few years ago. We were on the Paradise in February and this young girl (18th birthday) started screaming on a Dancing Drums. Thinking oh she probably won a hundred - younger people get excited on low wins. But, nope she hit the $10,000 jackpot playing 88 cents. Not an hour later, they announce another $10,000 winner. While talking to someone the next morning about these wins, they said someone else hit $10,000 later in the evening after I had left. I talked to the casino host and she said FOUR people hit $10,000 on that night. I spend alot of time in the casino and hear announcements quite often of wins but I tend to get the smaller wins. I will definitely spend more time on the machines that payout those large jackpots regardless of the amount of money being played.
Rare Tom-n-Cheryl Posted April 18, 2023 #54 Share Posted April 18, 2023 $24k playing BJ for a week. I had another which was a good bit more, but the cruise was 3 days too long... 😞 Not to worry - I offset my wins with losses For a person who's not a fan of roller coasters, I seemed to play that way in the past. May1cruiser Posted April 18, 2023 #55 Share Posted April 18, 2023 I usually hit even $500 at least once per day. Actually $508 when you include the service fee for the ATM. The real answer is $2900 on money reel - Paradise 2018.
jamscckmc Posted April 19, 2023 #56 Share Posted April 19, 2023 (edited) I won $10,000 on the Dancing Drums playing 88cents on the Magic in 2019. Every one of the Dancing Drums in the row hit a $10,000 jackpot that week. Unfortunately since my husband was still working, most went to taxes. Just off my first post pandemic cruise and not that lucky. One Miss Kitty Jackpot of $280. Edited April 19, 2023 by jamscckmc

Djptcp Posted April 21, 2023 #59 Share Posted April 21, 2023 I mentioned getting my Win/Loss Statement for tax purposes and someone asked if Carnival gave it to me. No, you need to go to the Ocean Players Club website and request it. It is available after Jan. 1st of each year for the previous year. Since Carnival Corp. also owns Holland America I was able to get both for my 3 jackpots.
dallasdan Posted April 21, 2023 #60 Share Posted April 21, 2023 (edited) I have hit 2 straight flushes on the Texas Hold em table game on different cruises. One was for around $1800 the other was $2400. My DW has hit a few hand pays for around $1200 each. I don't play slots so I won't ever hit the big bucks.
