Virgin Dinner Reservations for Groups

We are experienced cruisers and are considering Virgin for the first time.  We typically travel as a group of 8-10 people and are wondering if its even possible to get reservations at the same time for a group that size.  With Princess, Celebrity and Royal we never had an issue getting a set table for our group in the MDR.  Thanks in advance!

It is totally possible.  There is a limit to the number of people you can put on one reservation thru the app (I think it is 10), but is is also possible for two members of your group to make reservations and then "join" them when you are on board.  You will need to link your group members as friends on the app. It is also possible to add cruisers to your party without naming them.

Bottom line, if you need to join 2 or more groups after boarding, start by getting seating for all the people as close as possible to the same time using the app in advance,  Once on board, go to the restaurant and let them know that you are a group and want to be seated together.  They will make it work for you.

They do have a few tables for large groups, and the only trouble you may have is if there are more large groups than large tables. That's always a possibility no matter what line you're on.

The more flexible you are with dates & times, the better off you'll be.

According to this page on their site you can get some type of reservation "concierge" if you book a group of 8 or more. Might be worth looking into.
