Does Celebrity's call back feature actually work?

I need to talk to CS about our upcoming cruise and I noticed they have a feature using call back technology where they will call me when a rep is available, which is much better than sitting on hold. I have placed several requests over the course of a few weeks  to have someone call me, and haven't received a call back. Does it just not work? I feel like my requests are going into a black hole.

I used the Chat. The agent called me immediately. My issue was too much detail for the Chat so the agent asked if he could call me.

I'm still waiting for a call from my request on 4/1. No foolin'.

It only works if you are there to answer a few days later.  😱🤷‍♂️🙄

 

I leave my call back and they will do that within x amount of minutes.  Don't hold your breath.  
 

I am old school and still have a land line.  I am not going to wait around after a hour for the call back. 
 

2 days later I have a recording that I missed them.    I should have stayed by the phone  waiting for that call back.   They leave a call back number.   In the loop again.

If you don't get to speak with someone on your phone call within a reasonable period of time, hang up; and try later.  Don't waste your time waiting for a call-back.

When using Celebrity call back option... don't hold your breath that that call back will ever be received.

It did work for me once, back in March. I haven't tried it since.
