Tui Flight to Titan Flight

Recommended Posts

Our TUI flight last year was moved to a Canadian company for our Edinburgh to Palma flight.  No issues other than all the safety annoucements were in both languages which apparently is a legal requirement for all Canadian planes even when being chartered by a another line.

Had an email a couple of weeks ago changing our flights in August to Titan. Think it's just a dry lease where TUI provide the crew still. Titan seem to be a reputable company so not concerned at all.

Our isn,t

“Your flight will be operated by AlbaStar flight crew, and an on-board service will be delivered by AlbaStar cabin crew, ensuring the same high service standards as a TUI Airways flight.”

Ah, ours is this:

"When you arrive at the airport, please head to the TUI check-in/bag drop area. Your flight will be operated by Titan Airways flight crew, and our on-board café service will be delivered by our TUI cabin crew, ensuring the same high service standards as a TUI Airways flight."

Could well be Sunwing, part of the TUI group, they are the company pushing cruises for Explorer 2 for Jamaica next year from Canada.

The original TUI flight for mine was with a Boeing 737, the Titan one will be on an Airbus A320.

They also said: "If you have booked Extra Leg Room seats, we are sorry we are no longer able to offer this seat type and will reflect this in your holiday cost and process any refund for you."

Haven't heard anything about our pre-selected seats being changed.
