Voyager OTS or Mariner for short cruise to get to Diamond

Just need a short cruise to reach Diamond and am looking at the 4-nighter out of Galveston.  Both ships have the itinerary.  Any thoughts on one vs. the other?

Mariner because it has Playmakers. It's amped and has other newer features as well but I love Playmakers.

 

I've also read many good things from locals who have sailed on Mariner multiple times while it has been in PC (my home port an hour away).

How soon do you want to get to Diamond?

 

Mariner doesn’t come until 2024. They are not there together.

Why would someone like Mariner better if they are Diamond? I am Diamond Plus, but that has never impacted what ships I like.

I liked every ship better once I hit Diamond. They all started giving me free fancy coffee and free alcohol.
