Casino Offer

Hi all, Just received a casino offer which includes free inside room etc . The one I’m interested in is a 9day Alaska / Denali, 7 days on ship either New Amsterdam or Noordam. Hope someone can give me insight as to how much you actually get to see and do in Denali, also do you buy your own food?

We spent one day/night in Denali after getting off the Noordam, and it was nice, but our photo excursion wasn't the best choice. Some others had a great time, so we might not be the best resource. You do pay for your own food in Denali. It was good, by the way.

I received the same offer and I don’t gamble.  Called anyway and booked a 22 day South America/Antarctica cruise on the Oosterdam for January 29, 2024.  All I was charged was port taxes and fees, approximately $600 or so.  With an inside cabin I guess I’ll be spending some time on the promenade deck laying in the deck chairs.  Deck chairs are the 1 thing I miss on the new HAL ships!

I find it very odd that HAL would be giving away free cruises 9 months out for a unique and expensive Antarctic cruise. We are booked on this cruise and i am considering rolling the dice and cancelling and maybe get a free offer saving me several thousands.

More interestingly, they don't even gamble...???

I often jump on the casino offers. I don't really know how they figure who is offered what, but they are usually great offers for complimentay cabins. I never look a gift-horse in the mouth.

That is incredible to get such a casino offer  .

I am not sure that this is a casino offer.  I just received the same offer for "rare itineraries."  I was told by HAL regarding what was a previous casino offer, that HAL also makes similar "free inside cabin" offers, but they have a different suffix after the number.  I believe that the current offer is an actual HAL offer, and it was incredible.  I jumped on it.  Now, I have to figure out how to get a reasonable air fare R/T.

I think the casino offers come from a different source, as you said, rather than HAL. The casinos are operated in conjunction with land-based casino corps. that HAL works with, I believe.

I'm still irritated that I didn't get any casino offer after my craps play in September. Not a huge amount, but still.....

I’ve received about four of these offers in the last five months and finally found one that fits my calendar. Booked 15 night Panama Canal cruise for next April, and I also thought it was odd they’d be giving away (inside) cabins for a cruise 11 months in the future. I paid about $655 in port fees and taxes plus a $100 booking fee that I will get back in OBC. Not much downside from what I can see. Pretty excited to take advantage of this “free” offer. This will be my first time using a casino offer, even though I have never spent even one dollar in their casino.

And some people thought these offers are "drying up . . . ."   Lol.

Lol, I’ve read that on here.  You should definitely go back to those that said that instead of the messenger 🙄.  Why repeat this over, and over and over? Time to update the ignore users.

Thanks for the quick response.  Emailed my PCC same question 5 days ago and never heard back.

time for a new PCC.

You can't get shareholder benefit. Everything else is the same including adding in HIA at $50/pp/day
