Guaranteed Room - When will it be assigned?

Good day all.  I will be sailing in 7 days now.   When I booked, I selected a guaranteed veranda.  It seems odd that 7 days out they have not assigned.  I've only done the guarantee a few times in the past and when I did, I think assignments were made at least a couple of weeks out.  Is this the new normal?  Given the RCL overbookings, I just starting to get a little concerned.

Any where from 30 days from sailing down to at the pier. Average seems to be 8-10 days before sailing.

That was our timeline/experience (10 days) November 2022 on the Nieuw Statendam.

We sail on Eurodam next Saturday, in 7 days, on May 13.  Just recour cabin. We booked a guarantee VH & are assigned a VA wheelchair accessible one.  It is a bigger cabin and balcony than other veranda cabins.  But doesn't ha a sofa.  Just 2 chairs.   Hmmm...Will see if HAL has any paid upgrades available.

Will I get an email notification when our cabin is assigned?  Or do I keep checking every day?  Thanks.

Just received cabin assignment for Koningsdam for next Saturday.

Booked a VF and was assigned to large balcony VB starboard side of ship!
I received notification by email.

Perfect, thanks!  We have a VF gty for the Koningsdam on May 20th.  I guess maybe next week we'll find out.  Enjoy your cruise!
