Microwave in cabins? (Deluxe veranda)

With the exception of The World residential vessel, I'm not aware of any cruise ship with microwaves in cabins. The 2 primary reasons are safety and amount of power used.

In my experience, one of the good/bad things about Viking is their extremely hot water.

Found myself wishing for a toaster and microwave on last cruise, after a few days stuck on board due to weather. 

The food on board was  so bad that we ended up getting sandwich components where we could, then putting them together in our room later. Underdone oven chips (fries) on room service turned out to be the best thing on offer

On a Viking cruise?  We spent an unexpected 8 days at sea with Viking (New Zealand to Australia) and, if anything, they tried harder when it came to food.

It was supermarket microwave ready meal and value range tinned standard at best
