Does Viking offer a chat feature through the WiFi to send messages between myself and my husband? On other cruises we use this feature to find each other. We might be able to use Whatsapp, if not. Also do they offer accurate  menus and activities on the Viking App?

No chat feature. Yes menus that are pretty accurate are posted at least several days in advance

If your phone supports wifi calling, you can wifi text.

We use WhatsApp to communicate with friends while on board.

Not being too serious here but if you both have Apple Air Tags and each of you has one with you then you can find each other 🤔😂.

Could be useful if you got separated on an excursion?

If you have iPhones your texting will be through iMessage which is web-based and not through cellular when connected to wi-fi. That’s how we communicate on the ship.

AirTags aren't really needed.  The location of my DW's devices are tracked in the Find My app on my iPhone and iPad.

We always use WhatsApp and find it quite convenient!

We even use it to connect with independent foreign tour operators for coordination - works great as they all seem to use it.

He hates my Iphone, he has an android, lol!

 Whats App is really handy when WiFi connected. Does not rely on you phone service providers
