Laundry on TransAtlantic

Contemplative a 15 day TransAtlantic cruise. Have some concerns about the cost of laundry on board. Are there likely to have special “fill the bag” specials. If so how’s much per bag?

It's not so much a 'special' as an everyday thing. You can send a bag of laundry every day, or even more often if you want to. The price is always the same. It has been $20/bag in the US and $30/bag in Europe, at least until recently. I have read reports that the price has gone up, but don't recall the amount, and did notice that the reports aren't consistent. 
You can also purchase an unlimited plan at a price per day for every day of the cruise. That price was $7 or $9, broken down as above, but also likely was increased.

We're doing a 25 day cruise and travelling carry-on only. We're just going to use the bag option once a week or so - quite a lot cheaper than buying the unlimited plan.

We just did a Transatlantic and did our laundry midway through the trip in port in Ponte Delgada.  Super easy to research options ahead of time by Googling. Only took one hour for less than 8 Euros to wash and dry.

US we've been paying $20/bag, $149 7-day unlimited until last week on the Eurodam in AK - it was $159.50 unlimited, that's a 7% increase at one time!! But still a bargain (potentially saves luggage fees) for professionally laundered clothes and a clean suitcase at the end of the trip.

We did it by the bag since we did not do excursions and thus were not muddy and wet as usual in AK.

They do a great job, take pride and care even leaving personal notes in the returned basket, honor special requests and usually return it ahead of schedule. Remember to include them when you tip out at end of cruise (we put a note on the back of the note they sent us with the tip in the last bag we send out).
