Kayla103 Posted May 13, 2023 #1 Share Posted May 13, 2023 Hi all! General spa question for those who have used RC spas before. Do you find the sales on the ship or the pre-cruise sales are cheaper? I will still tip based on the regular price/additional but I wanted to get the best deal on the service itself if possible. Thanks!
Jasukkie Posted May 14, 2023 #2 Share Posted May 14, 2023 The sales I've seen are more along the lines of stacking services, so getting you to spend more to "save" more. They are always upselling in there too.
Kayla103 Posted May 14, 2023 Author #3 Share Posted May 14, 2023 Good to know! Thanks! I wasn't sure if they were really "sales" or if I was being ridiculous
Sunshine3601 Posted May 14, 2023 #4 Share Posted May 14, 2023 (edited) Prices vary depending on whether it is a port day or sea day. I have never really seen any big price difference on cruise planner vs onboard. If you do a mock booking on cruise planner you will see the price differences based on the day and time. Sometimes onboard they will advertise specials and I have found some of them to be very nice. They usually try to upsell their products when your session is done. I usually ask them to write down what they recommend and then check out the online prices (which is usually cheaper than buying onboard). I have several Elemis products that I use on a regular basis, but rarely purchase any onboard. Edited May 14, 2023 by Sunshine3601
twinmommy08 Posted May 14, 2023 #5 Share Posted May 14, 2023 Book before your cruise if you know what you want. That way you have your treatment and time set. Lesson learned for me. The treatment I wanted was completely sold on my last cruise.
neverbeenhere Posted May 14, 2023 #6 Share Posted May 14, 2023 Wife says that the best prices are while in port and not on the ship. Best to schedule an appointment.
