Winterbreakers Posted May 14, 2023 #1 Share Posted May 14, 2023 (edited) When in Port Canaveral, we are just interested in going over to the Cocoa Beach Pier area. Maybe rent chairs for a few hours, do some shopping and head back to the ship, especially since our in port time is 1 pm -10 pm ( Oasis on July 2nd) Are there taxis or Ubers waiting @ Port Canaveral and at the Pier so we can go at our convenience ? TY 888 taxi is right outside the terminal. You can get a taxi or take their shuttle to Ron Jon.
Marie51 Posted May 14, 2023 #3 Share Posted May 14, 2023 I would find it hard to believe that there wouldn’t be taxis lined up if a ship load of passengers had just come into port.
MrsK Posted May 17, 2023 #4 Share Posted May 17, 2023 A different Port Canaveral taxi question that I am going to ask here if you don't mind. Debarking off of one ship and then immediately going to a different cruise ship, that is also docked at Port Canaveral for another cruise check in...... is a taxi driver going to be upset doing such a trip? I mean, definitely almost not worth their time to pick us up and drop us off at maybe the next terminal over (not sure about which terminals yet). They would then have to get back in line and and start over again. Anybody have any other ideas on how to pull this off?

We have sailed lots of cruises out of Port Canaveral and also done many back to back cruises but have never gone straight from one ship/cruise line to another ship/cruise line in the same port on the same day. Port Canaveral is also a port that we have never used a taxi before, so not really paid much attention to the taxi situation there. Thank you for your input. Much appreciated.
