I'm leaving on a RCI 4-night Canada (Halifax) cruise from Cape Liberty next week.  Looking for transportation suggestions from LGA to our hotel in the Battery Park area to the Cape Liberty cruise port on Monday, May 23 and from the cruise port to EWR on Saturday, May 27.  Not familiar with NYC at all and would appreciate your tried and true options.  Thanks in advance.

Taxi or uber is going to be easiest.  Taxis are on the meter so if you go in heavy traffic times it will cost more than off peak

A definite "no" to using a taxi for one segment of the trip...from their hotel in Manhattan to Cape Liberty. NY City taxis are not required to take passengers to any destination in NJ other than EWR.

Car service is an alternative, then

From LGA to your hotel in Manhattan you can take a taxi, Uber/Lyft or a car service such as Carmel Limo or Dial 7.

I prefer Uber/Lyft or a car service over a taxi because you'll get a fixed fare quote while taxis fares are on a meter so they will vary due to traffic and mileage.

From your hotel in Manhattan to Cape Liberty you want to take Uber/Lyft or a car service. NY City taxis are not required to take you to anywhere in NJ other than EWR.

From Cape Liberty to EWR a taxi, Uber/Lyft or a car service will work.
