Does Ocenia notify you before boarding if you qualify for the onboard credit? Plus how long does it take Oceania to process your request? Thanks.

I received notification, via a new invoice reflecting the OBC under amenities, within 24 hours of sending in my form and proof of ownership.  This was last week for 2 Vista cruises this Fall.

Oceania has no idea which investments are in your portfolio until you provide a (redacted) statement. Not sure if you were under the impression they will notify all NCL stockholders, or maybe I misread your question.
Also, there are lots of different posts here on CC giving a wide range of response times to receive the Stockholders OBC.
Sometimes they respond promptly and sometimes they don’t…..in which case resubmit your forms.

Enjoy your cruise!

THANKS, I SUBMITTED A COPY OF THE TRADE COMFIRMATION.

Just to confirm, did you also submit the shareholder benefit form? Available on the O website or by a google search…….

Oceania is distinctly ambiguous insofar as to how far in advance the credit will be granted.  In a couple of cases, we submitted it and were notified that we needed to submit it closer to the cruise date, but the stable geniuses didn't provide a date or a time frame - e.g., "No earlier than 8 weeks in advance of the cruise" or "No earlier than [mm/dd/yyyy]".

No reason to be specific when you can be vague and hold people/shareholders to an unspecified date.

On board today and guest services showed the stock benefit. Never received an email, but it all worked out.  Thanks for all the responses.

Did it show on final documents under amenities?  We always receive an updated Oceania invoice from our TA a few weeks before sailing that we print off and take with us in case there are any amenities, etc. missing.  We never receive an email from O that it was processed.

Yes will do it after final pay. But used the E sale, so probably will get nothing. I bought the shares for the benefit to help with gratuities.

Did the terms and conditions of the E sale state that it is not combinable?  Our TA always sends us the T and C of what promotions can be combined with the offer we would be booking under ...I found them for E sale and it is not combinable:

Not combinable with Onboard savings, American Express CPPamenities, Premium Economy Air, Oceania Club Certificates,Business Class Air promotions, Onboard Savings, Back to BackSavings, Covert Deals, Consumer Events, Private Sales, Partnerof the Month, Groups, Key Account Promos, National AccountPromos, OCAPP, NCL Shareholder benefit, Casino Specials, SingleSpecials,

Didn't received final invoice from TA.

Good idea to make sure you receive a guest copy of your Oceania invoice a week or so before sailing so you can print off and take with you.....should receive one after any payments made and any changes made....they are sent to TA and they should forward to you.

We never received an invoice and it isn't on our final confirmation.  We contacted O and were told it was posted Mar. 6 for a June cruise and would appear once we were onboard.  Such differing communications!

Did you ask for a final guest invoice from your TA?  If not, ask them to send to you now.  It only takes 5 minutes for them to request one, receive it and forward to you.  It is listed under amenities on the guest invoice but often does not show up on final email docs...

Checked all of the above.  Have spoken with Oceania and they tell us that it will be applied after we board. Hoping that will happen, since we board overseas and cell service will be costly.

Have you asked your TA to send you an updated copy of your guest invoice from O?  It will be listed under amenities on this.....we always receive a copy of our guest invoice a few weeks before each cruise and print off to take with us.

Yes.  We have checked every route possible and there is nothing.  If it hasn't been posted in 2 1/2 months since the stated posting from O, I'm guessing there will be no further postings, and, as O said when we talked directly with the person in that department, it will be posted when we get onboard.

Same here.  That's why I asked here to see if anything changed and why we've been on the phone with O.  Hoping for the best.

If O said on more than one occasion from different reps that it is there, I am sure it is.  Did you book direct or with a TA?
