Very Early Disembarkation on an overnight stay. Is this Possible?

Hi Wife and I are doing a 12 Day Barcelona to Trieste cruise from 12 Sep to 26 Sept.  The ship arrives in Trieste on the 25th but the disembarkation is the 26th.   I am looking to catch a very early train to Munich (the better to see the scenery during the day) and was wondering if a person can disembark at any time in a situation such as this?  Any one with experience in this matter?

Thanks

Yes. The ship meets any (doubt there will be any) Immigration and Customs requirements when it docks on the 25th.

You will need to carry your bags off. You should tell the ship you are departing early. No reduction in fare.

Assuming that your previous  port was in the Schengen area there will be zero formalities and zero issues.

We were in Trieste last year changing trains - and spent a few hours to have a look around. It's a lovely town and its walking distance from the pier to the railway station - have a look at google maps.   It's definitely worth having a look around town before you leave.
