That reminds me. They have pickleball every morning at 8am. Today I was heading up to coffee at 7:45. I encounter a serious looking pickleball player in the elevator lobby. He’s got this huge backpack that can’t be a carryon. It has a spot for a racket sprouting out of the middle of it. He looks like he’s at Wimbledon or something.

Oh while I’m thinking about that I was in the comedy line the other day and someone actually complained to Buzz about people in wheelchairs jumping the line. Buzz told him well it’s because of the Americans with disabilities act.

Really, I'm disabled and never go to the front of the line? Maybe because they want to keep the area clear of scooters or chairs.

I thought I better get an early start to dinner since it’s the gala dinner tonight. I requested at table at 6:00. It said 20-30 min wait. At 6:30 it said less than 10 min wait. My table was assigned at 6:44. I was seated at 6:49. My order was taken at 7:15.

Oh there’s a discrepancy between the menu that’s in the hub app and the one that’s on the table. The hub app has oysters Rockefeller as an appetizer option. The menu at the table has crab brioche in its place.

It’s a very small club and the aisles have to be clear for the cocktail servers. I think they always put wheelchair and scooter folks by this front door.

I made sure my tablet was charged up so I could carry it around with me tonight but… they blocked my sites again so I’m reduced to this.

It's getting ugly early in Pittsburgh.

Someone asked about scooters in the MDR but I forgot who it was. I came across a scooter guy in the elevator so I asked him. He said most of the time he parks his scooter in the front and walks to his table but they will allow him to drive it into the MDR and park near his table.

It was me, thanks for the info. Really enjoying your review.

Overall what do you think of this ship & the quality of the food?
How does it compare to NCL or Royal?

Loyal St Greg devotees would know he has never cruised on either of those lines yet.  But he does have an upcoming Alaska cruise on NCL and is also contemplating a future RCI cruise.

I had to cut out a little early to make it to Will Marfori’s last adult show of the cruise. But this guy has another show later after all of the comedy is over so I can easily make it up.

This crowd wasn’t too bad. I assume because so many people were eating or in the main show.

After the show they cleared the place out and it was 30mins till the next show. The line went to the casino but not as deep as the magic show yesterday.

No problem getting everyone in and having seats available for walkins.

But not everyone takes advantage of them and some of the smaller scooters are around the club. And there’s a wheelchair folded up in the back.

There’s actually a big one in an aisle and it looks like they’re going to allow it to stay there. There’s still room to walk by though. So you may not be limited to those front door seats. They are good seats though.
