Discounts for La Petit Chef

Does Celebrity ever offer discounted prices for La Petit Chef after boarding? I heard they sometimes off discounts on the other specialty restaurants if they aren't fully booked.

It may vary by ship and whether the ship is sailing full.

On Edge & Apex only discount offered was $5.  Ships were 70 & 75% capacity.  
 

On Summit recently we had won a free specialty dinner and booked the 8:15 LPC seating and and our reservation was cancelled because there were not enough booking.  Rebooked for another night and again a call at 3 in afternoon we to say we could move to 5:30 as there would be no 8:15 seating.  We voiced out displeasure and they said they would check with the others booked and let us know.  They called back and said there would be a 2nd seating.  We got there and including us a total of 12 people.  A party of 3 one of who was in the production show cast accompanied by her parents. Another party of 3 who were crew.  On that sailing they either weren’t offering discounts or they couldn’t give the reservations away.
