You still have to use the link in the email to actually get the card. Yes! Print out that card and pin number. I also screenshot them.

If I under project my onboard (casino) spend and need to buy more from AARP while onboard will they refuse to apply the funds if I can show the pdf on my phone? If I under project my onboard (casino) spend and need to buy more from AARP while onboard will they refuse to apply the funds if I can show the pdf on my phone? I BEG you not to do that. The first time I tried to apply AARP gift cards to my onboard account, I got stuck behind a woman and her father in line and it took them 45 minutes to get their gift cards applied because they only had them in their email. First, they had to search their emails on their phones and the guy didn't have his reading glasses, so that was a whole thing. They had to forward those emails to the Guest Services agent they were working with. Of course, they had multiple gift cards and ended up sending the same email multiple times and missing others, so that was a whole thing as well. The Guest Services agent had to use one computer to then receive the emails and print them out, then go over to another computer to actually enter the gift cards into the system to apply them to the onboard accounts. Then, since they had forwarded the wrong emails for some, there was the whole thing over again, searching for the missing gift cards. It was excruciating. They need printed copies of the gift cards because they make you sign them as they are applied to your account. So one way or another, you will have to get them printed. Maybe you could go to the internet cafe onboard and print them from there and then take them over to Guest Services so as not to hold up the entire line for an inordinate period of time?

Thanks, this will be my first Princess cruise. I forgot that they would likely have printers at the internet cafe, and what would they possibly charge, $0.25 a page? I don't expect to have to do this, but would only do it if our balance is a few hundred more than we project, otherwise I will just let it go to the credit card. Princess does not charge for printing at the Internet cafe. They had a charge a very long time ago. You DO need an internet plan to login to your email to print the AARP eCards. Itried4498 Posted Saturday at 01:48 AM #337 Share Posted Saturday at 01:48 AM How long does it typically take for the e-cards to arrive? I ordered them a couple hours ago and still haven’t received them. Wondering if this is normal, thanks!

I’d call AARP if you still don’t have them. Maybe their website is having issues?

I went to bed and woke up the next morning and they were there. They came through around 1am. The second time, they were delivered much more quickly. I don't remember the exact details, but I would say within an hour.

Subsequent cards came quickly.
