Elite Internet dilemma

I have been buying my half-priced elite internet via the medallion app before boarding the ship and there have been no problems in the past.  On my upcoming cruise I have so much OBC that I won’t be able to use … so I am wondering if I can wait to buy internet on board and still get the Elite discount… anyone have first-hand experience doing this?  I know “in theory” it works that way, but lots of things on Princess are inconsistent.

We went down and bought Internet in the Internet Cafe after boarding using our OBC . The lady who helped us was in fact one of the Dancers . Got it half price with no issue.

Yes, you should not have any issues in doing this.

Last week there I had no problem purchasing internet access through the MedallionClass app on the first day of the cruise.  It recognized my status and showed the 50% discount before I completed the purchase.

Our discount benefit applies whether purchasing in advance or on board.

 

A nice advantage is that the new pricing levels are the same pre-cruise as on board, so we no longer have to worry about paying extra if wait until aboard the ship.

Just go on the App once OB to purchase it on the first day.  Make sure your Elite status shows on the App for the 50% discount.  If not, stop at the Internet Cafe and they will do it.

 

Add:  You don’t say if it is soon.  If later in the year or next year, could be increases.  JMO

Had no trouble clicking the button on the app, once on board.  Paid with OBC at pre-cruise rate.
