Road Town?

First time in Tortola in three weeks and we have a funky port time -- 6am-2pm. Ideally we'd like to use this port as our "shopping" day, explore the town, hit Sunny Caribee's, and hopefully hit a distillery of some kind. Does any one have any suggestions of must see/dos in town? Or any suggestions of local places that are close by?

Yes those early port times are difficult…

I’d suggest taking one of the shared island tours that include a stop in Cane Garden Bay. You’ll enjoy spectacular views from high, and have a chance to enjoy CGB with a tour of the distillery and a lunch at Myett’s or another spot if you’d like. Then shop the port after the tour.

Drivers offer 3 - 4 hr shared island tours at very reasonable rates (~$25 - $30/pp).

Just a thought!

AC’s is a great private option.

For a shared safari taxi tour just seek one out when you arrive, there are several with different options…

Thank you for the suggestion. I will look into it.

I am also considering this paddle tour. Have you done it? Are you familiar with that area?

The odd port time makes it tough to do it all!

No we haven’t, but that looks like a great option away from the busier excursions!
