Skagway - tickets for White Pass railroad

We booked a trip through HAL for the railroad in Skagway.  Do we get tickets for that?  Can we board the train and how do they know we paid already?

You will receive tickets and/or other excursion information/instructions in your stateroom when you board.

 

You will need to take appropriate ID and travel documents on the train to comply with any rules that are in place, if your journey is international

HAL treats it just like any other excursion, so as @FOPMan said, you'll get info on the cruise. The easiest way (maybe the only way) is using the Navigator app.

Thank you, Sir.  We normally do our own thing ashore but this is the first time we have booked and paid for a ship's excursion in advance of boarding.

The train eticket and meeting time/location would show up on your Navigator app. On train excursion day, a staff would scan your sea card at the dock meeting area and you are good to board. No paper train ticket needed.
