Can I book online and call a day or two later to request a day deviation for flights?

Can I book online and call a day or two later to request a day deviation for flights? Can a deviation of a day or two be requested online?

Best to do this by calling and booking FULL reservation over the phone or can I call a couple days after booking online to put in request for November sailing?

No way to request a deviation on line as far as I know. You can book online and then call for the deviation anytime, no later than 75 days prior to your sail date.  Or you can call and make your reservation and include the deviation request.

I did that and with the deviation, you get $25.00 off, which, I presume, is the saving for the transfer from the airport to the ship.

No,  the $25 has nothing to do with transfers.  If you had transfers on your reservation, you were charged for them.  They take the charges off the reservation when you request the deviation.

I have the feeling that the $25 credit is for 2 reasons both having to do with encouraging you to come in a day or two early. The first is you are less likely to miss the cruise. The second is it gives them more choices for air flights when you do not have to get in on time the day of the cruise. JMHO.
