Is Princess Not Returning to South America?

Hi,

 

We are looking to cruise with Princess to South America for Dec 2024 during Christmas. 

We have been waiting for a number of months now, but they haven't release their Dec 2024 South America Cruise. 

Does anyone know if they don't release the dates by now, it means they won't be returning to South America?

Oh, I am sure you will see PCL cruising S.A. each Winter.  I kind of wish they would bring back the full circle of S.A. which they have not done since Covid.  The most recent ship doing it has been Sapphire.

Thank you.  I am still waiting.  Celebrity does go there too, but I am not too crazy about it.  I would pick Princess over Celebrity even though my favorite is Royal Caribbean.

I have no interest in NCL.  That's my last choice.

I have spoken to a good number of Princess agents and they all confirm that Princess WILL NOT returning to South America starting Dec 2024.

That's just too bad.

If Princess has decided not to go back to Antarctica in Dec 2024 and beyond, HAL is doing pretty much the same itinerary starting in Dec 2024. We did it on the Zaandam back in 2018 and had an awesome time, especially when we were able to cruise around the Antarctica Peninsula for 4 days!

In fact we had such a great time we’re going back to Antarctica in Jan 2024 on the Sapphire Princess which is offering a similar 16-day itinerary only in reverse.
