sandyoftheseas Posted June 20, 2023 #1 Share Posted June 20, 2023 I am going on a cruise on July 1st. I was looking at the on board services and noticed Casino Credit that states $100 OBC casino core. When I go to my payments tab that shows me and my husbands OBC there is nothing showing casino credit. Is this in addition to the OBC that is showing under the payments tab? Is it free play chips or OBC?

Rare Rick&Jeannie Posted June 20, 2023 #3 Share Posted June 20, 2023 DW has received casino free play offers twice now. If this is what we're talking about you need to take whatever paperwork/mailing you received to the casino once onboard to get it applied to your account. If you are speaking of something else...IDK. Rare Lady Arwen Posted June 20, 2023 #4 Share Posted June 20, 2023 We also have this applied to our account and it is OBC.
marden1970 Posted June 20, 2023 #5 Share Posted June 20, 2023 Try looking at the travel summary at the top of the booking,(next to print luggage tag) Should show everything under special services.
sandyoftheseas Posted June 20, 2023 Author #6 Share Posted June 20, 2023 Musky Ike- I do see $100 as booking promotions under my payments tab. marden1970- In the travel summery Under "special services" I see $100 OBC casino core. but under " onboard credit for this booking" it does not show as casino core as I stated about it shows $100 booking promotions is that it? This sailing for us is more complicated regarding the OBC because we had a cancelled cruise and they gave us OBC for our next cruise (but I don't remember how much) then my husbands account got messed up and he had to call the IT dept. and his OBC for the cancelled cruise was missing so he talked to a supervisor and got $100 goodwill OBC. We usually just have shareholders, future cruise and any other promotions at the time of booking so all these different OBC are confusing.

Not sure why they don't list it as casino core. It is just like any other OBC. enjoy! They used to make you go to the cage to get it applied to you casino account once you set one up, but now it is just added to your onboard account. You can charge either chips or slot play to your onboard account.

sandyoftheseas Posted June 20, 2023 Author #9 Share Posted June 20, 2023 Thanks for the feedback, everyone. Seems like it is already included in the overall OBC. Was kinda hoping it would be an extra $100 but, oh well.
BeachBum777 Posted October 20, 2023 #10 Share Posted October 20, 2023 (edited) That is an on board credit by the casino. I thought it was for casino play, it's not but if everyone thinks that it is they have done what they wanted to get you in. It is in fact your on board standard credit that just happens to be sponsored by the casino. They are one of the same. I went to the cash out and asked . Correct me if i am wrong. memoak Posted October 20, 2023 #11 Share Posted October 20, 2023 (edited) If it was for casino play it would be displayed as Free Play to be credited at the casino Edited October 20, 2023 by memoak
