Best hotel near Port Canaveral?

Hi All, 

 

We are looking for your recommendations on hotels for one night prior to our cruise.  Our desired criteria:

• Higher end hotel. Hilton/Marriott/Hyatt class at a minimum, open to anything and everything above that.
• Very good on-site or extremely nearby restaurant.
• Overall, the more premium, the better.
• Ideally within 30 min of the port, but farther is OK for something worthwhile.

 

This is a special trip for us, so we're willing to spend extra. Also totally fine if it's a small/independent hotel or awesome short term rental.

We’ve stayed at the Hyatt in Titusville, and are staying there again in a couple of months before our cruise. It’s just a short drive into the port.

Since you only have one night, I suggest keeping things simple!

 

Check if there is a rocket launch during your hours at the hotel. If so, then the very best option is the new Courtyard Titusville Kennedy Space Center.  The rooftop bar and restaurant are excellent with fabulous views of the launch. 

 

If no launch then go for one of the great new hotels in Cape Canaveral. Just pick one - all are a short walk from several restaurants or just a quick Uber from the Port restaurants.

We enjoyed the Home2Suites..very nice newish hotel. Nice pool, rooms with kitchenette and a great breakfast.
