Zumba and pop choir on Princess ?

Doing California Coast 11 night from Vancouver on September 27 on Sapphire Princess. Last tim we did it was October 2019 on Crown Princess. On that cruise they had free morning Zumba classes and a pop choir. Also a mob flash dance. Anyone know if they still have those ?

There will be many activities. What was "hot" in 2019 may not be popular now...expect new activities.

I don't know about the Sapphire, but we were on the Grand for a 29 day trans Pacific cruise in April.  There was Zumba daily on sea days as well as a pop choir and mob flash dance.

Sounds great ! Hope we get the same. We will have 3 sea says going south, one between ports and 2 coming back north.

A definite "Yes" on the Pop Choir.  Well, let me qualify that.  My brother and his wife were in the Pop Choir during their Hawaii cruise in January.

Princess actually doesn't call it Zumba any longer.

It looks like they don't want to pay the name license fees.
So they call it "Cardio Dance Class".

Was on the Crown last month for 11 day roundtrip YVR and just off 7 day Emerald CA coastal. On Crown they had Zumba but no Pop choir and no Mob flash dance. Crown had crew member who wanted to do Pop Choir, but no time in schedule because of itinerary. Emerald had Zumba no Pop choir or mob flash dance.

 

It is possible they may call it Cardio Dance Class if crew member is not certified Zumba instructor. Pretty sure patter/event listing said Zumba on the Emerald.

Thanks all. Getting a sense that Zumb/Cardio dance will probably happen. Suspect that mob flash dance and pop choir need enough sea day to allow rehearsals prior to performance. Not likely on Alaska as only 2 or 3 sea days. ,ight happen on Cal Coast 11 night as total of 6 sea days 🤞

IMHO -Surprising that there would be Pop Choir or a mob flash dance because of possible Covid transmission .
Virus is still out there.

I am recovering from a case of it after a cruise on the Celebrity Summit a few weeks ago.
