We are looking forward to enjoying some crab legs while on our Alaskan Cruise.  Can you recommend some restaurants that serve crab legs in Juneau & Ketchikan that are within walking distance from the port/docks?  Thank you & have a wonderful 4th of July.

In Ketchikan check Annabelle's for fresh (not frozen) dungeness crab.  During the dungy season it is often a special.

And while I know this is not a popular opinion I think that Tracey's is over-rated.

Agree...Way over rated and over priced. I for one liked the old location better.

Tracy’s in Juneau is probably the most popular, and it’s an easy walk.

The have a location close to the dock that is almost always busy.  I saw someone suggest walking to their other location, maybe 10 minutes, and it's less crowded.

Ah, yes.  Good point.  Avoid the big red building close to the ships.  Follow the sidewalk into town on Egan Dr, past the Hangar restaurant and just past the Coast Guard station.  The second location is waterfront with a large empty gravel parking lot in front of it.  Google Street View is a little old in Juneau but it's located in this empty lot.

Saint George Lodge in Ketchikan.  If you're looking for king crab, it's expensive, frozen, and exactly the same crab you'd get from your local Costco. Tracy's is charging $75 a pound.

If you're in Juneau on a Thursday, Tracy's Crab Shack 2 has all you can eat dungies for $40.
