Music on the Mariner

Hello,

 

Can someone who has been on the Mariner within the past year please tell me when and where daily the orchestra (or a subset thereof) plays?  Do these venues have any type of dance floor?

The whole orchestra plays after the show in the Horizon Lounge which has a large dance floor. They start at 10:30 pm because they usually accompany the show.

A subset (usually one) plays in the Mariner Lounge before dinner.

Let’s think band here,  I wouldn’t really call it an orchestra.

But that is what Regent calls it - The Regent Signature Orchestra

Agreed,  Regent may call it an Orchestra,  but based on a definition of a band or orchestra - they are a band.

I would agree with irishwitchy. Having played in both an orchestra and a band (albeit in high school 😉) the RSO is definitely a band. Still excellent though.
