When does statesroom number get assigned for guranteed cabins?

Mine still says Statesroom to be assigned. i will be leaving July 6 from Los Angeles. Does it get assigned last minute?

It could be assigned as close as when you arrive at the pier.

Is it pretty much guaranteed  cabin, I hope they don't run out of rooms once I get to Princess. Any need to go earlier or doesn't matter?

I would go when you planned to go.  Earlier shouldn’t make a difference. The cabins are assigned by headquarters.

 

Make sure to check the night before, or the morning of sailing, as sometimes they have assigned it already.  We didn’t get an email, I just saw it on my phone.

Some have reported the baggage handler was able to pull it up when they checked their luggage.

We leave the 8th and haven’t been assigned yet either. Glad to hear you did finally. Have a great cruise!

There is a wide variation of times when a guarantee cabin is assigned. We got our guantee cabin assigned 100 days out but I have seen them assigned at the pier.
