Bodo port ideas

Docking in Bodo tomorrow..

I believe there might be a RIB tour that takes in coastline and the Saltstraumen, but can't  find it online.

Also, that there is a ferry across to a picturesque island?

 

Any experience or other ideas please ?

I’m not a Bodø expert but below some links - do not know what ‘picturesque island’ is - assuming Lofoten islands - might be too far.

I have spent time in Bodo and would recommend 1) SeeingnSaltstraumen, 2) the Aviation Museum, 3) Bodo cathedrals, 4) Nordland Museum. There is an enclosed shopping center if you want to get a feel for every day life. The Hurtigruten stops here and it is the end of the rail line Trondheim to Bodo.
