We are more interested in exploring the historical character of where we are visiting. Thanks for the tip on Silas. If you were there for only a port day, what would be your top choices? Palma Catherdral is beautiful, well worth a visit. You pay to go in, I think it was 10euro pp, with discount for over 65s. Palma town is a favourite of ours. Awayfrom the high rise hotels it's a lovely walkable compact city with some great tapas bars. You can get the little wooden train to Soller from Palma though you'd need to check out the times to see if it's doable depending on your port times. Whenever we are able to go I will look forward to that. Had to cancel this year but one itinerary we are looking at for 2025 includes this port. Thank you very much.

Agree. Their rankings had me scratching my head a bit, and the quotes they featured were mostly not helpful! Edited March 7 by cruisemom42
