weacat Posted July 9, 2023 #1 Share Posted July 9, 2023 Question about using Euros in the casino? Can you use Euros to buy chips for the card games in the casino when leaving out of Europe? We’ve only taken cruises departing the USA and have bought chips with USD. and as a follow up question. If you can use Euros, do you get the correct exchange for it? Rare cruisestitch Posted July 9, 2023 #2 Share Posted July 9, 2023 No you can’t use Euros in the casino. The ship’s currency is US Dollars. you can exchange currency at Guest Relations but the rate is terrible.

No idea if their exchange rates were favorable or if there's any way (cashier creates a voucher?) to use Euros on the slots

I wouldn’t be surprised if they were accepted at par.

If you don't have BCC status, they'll charge you a 3% convenience fee at the tables. Some may confuse that fee as part of the exchange rate

Generally, you must requalify year after year to maintain status like most other travel loyalty programs. This is different than Celebrity's loyalty program called the "Captains Club" which is (currently) lifetime status
