Playa Mia—Opinion

Anyone been recently??  Trying to decide what to do when we go in 2 weeks.  Traveling with a 10 and 6 year old.  Have done Mr. Sanchos in the past.

We were there in 2015, so not recently. But, we had a great time, and would go back again.

Hopefully you get a few more in person opinions, but one thing is the infrastructure hasn't quit being extremely young kid friendly.

We went back in 2013 and it was very kid friendly for those particular ages. Not much has changed. They have a HUGE pool toward the back with a kids splash pad as well. Then they have the water slides. There's a play ground and the water toys. We found it to be a nice place for families. Definitely a good choice.

We went to Playa Mia this past January (2023) with our kids -- ages 30, 25 and 21! 😁 They all loved it and yes, there's lots for younger kids to do.

What did you end up doing?

We went to Playa Mia and it was great.  My kids enjoyed the pool and water slides.  Would recommend for sure!

Where did you get your tickets and did you pay for transfer?

Bought day pass directly from Playa Mia website.  Took a taxi from the port area.

Was it hard to get a taxi back from Playa Mia to go to the port?

No they are sitting outside the entrance waiting.

We will possibly be with an older person with mobility issues. Do you know if paying transfer would help her as far as distance walking for pick up and drop offs or is it all the same?
