Wonder of the Seas/forward cabin?

Recommended Posts

Hi All,

Was wondering if anybody has experience on the forward cabins on the Wonder of the Seas, in our case deck 8.  I know generally any forward cabins you may feel more sea conditions depending on the conditions.

Thanks in advance,

Rich

Oasis class ships are so large that it takes significant movement to feel anything anywhere. Most cruises I may not even feel the ship move more than once or twice the whole week.

Unless you're extremely concerned about known sea sickness, I wouldn't worry about staying there.

Thanks for responding.  Not worried about seasickness, just haven't stayed in the type cabin before. We are usually mid ship.  This is also the first time on this class ship.

If you're just worried about location, it will just be personal preference type stuff. You'll be closer to some stuff now and farther from other stuff, otherwise not a ton of difference although being Oasis class, it's obviously longer from end to end.

We tend to stay either forward or aft, been on every Oasis class except Symphony, never had an issue. I actually have 4 future cruises booked on Wonder, all are forward, just slightly higher decks. We chose forward b/c of the interior layouts. I saw several videos of aft interiors and they didn't even have a small couch, just a chair. Forward interiors seemed to have the more usual layouts.
