Detailed directions Villefranche Port to train station and bus stop

My cruise will be stopping at Villefranche and I would like to explore Eze for the day. We are a group of four seniors who are not spry. Could someone provide step-by-step directions to the train station and bus stop after exiting the visitor center?  I remember a steep stone staircase across the road that goes along the harbor and to the left of the visitor center exit.  Is the bus stop at the top of that staircase?  Is the train station near the top of that staircase?

We took a taxi to Monaco you could probably get one to Eze. Just arrange a time to be picked back up.
