Athens tour 1 hour after arrival

We arrive in port Piraeus at 8am on a Saturday and looking at a tour that starts at 9am which meets at the Acropolis.  Thoughts if this is enough time to arrive and travel to the meeting point?  I assume it is easy to get a taxi from the port?   Looks to be about 20 min travel time.  Would we be impacted by traffic at that hour?

Assuming you have transportation already waiting for you and your luggage you can be off by 8 and get there . With traffic you are looking at about 40 min drive on a sat . We walked our luggage off to meet our driver at 8 am last week. Got right off.  As soon as they announce self assist just go(be ready). If you don’t have transportation set up then I would do that at least . Our driver picked us up at port took

us to the acropolis and a few other places all while holding our luggage then dropping us off at our hotel. Hope that helps

We are a group of 5 looking to do what you did "cruising freaks".  We want to be picked up at port, taken to acropolis and then dropped at a hotel.  Im worried about the amt of luggage for 5 people.  Do you think the vehicle you used would be big enough?  Company?  Thank you
