i earned ruby on my cruise last year.  this year i booked another cruise via a certificate from a land based casino.  Do I automatically get the ruby benefits like the on board credit?

If you qualified Ruby between April 2022 and March 2023, your Ruby status is good through March 2024.

 

You will get your $400 OBC, 3 gift choices (foods or bottles of wine), a Black/Ultra drink card good for any drink at the casino bar, waived continence fees on cash advances to your room, additional wifi minutes (no value toward an upgrade). 

 

You need to requalify between April 2023 and March 2024 for the next year. 

 

If you earn 5000 points on your next cruise, you can cash them in for a $250 CAS Next certificate (good for 1 year).

thanks appreciate the info.  is the obc just automatically taken off my bill when I check out?  Also where do I make the food choices?

The casino host/desk has a list of choices for food and/or wine.  Check with them when you visit the casino, and introduce yourself.

I've been Ruby with CAS for awhile.   I usually get a letter in our stateroom the first day with our casino cards that have a 'free drink while in casino' attached card.  The same letter usually has another card that says you have $400 OBC from casino.  You will be able to see it on your onboard account.

 

I sometimes stop by the Casino Host desk to say hello the first day with that Ruby card in hand.  That is when they hand me the form to choose our three amenity items.   Sometimes a host has come and found me at a slot machine before I've had a chance to stop by.   

 

In my experience, they do look for the Ruby & Elite players and will usually stop by to chat with you when you are in the casino.    I can only recall one cruise where the Exec Host didn't say a word to me all week.

looks like they had me in the wrong tier - back to jade.  they looked me up in the system and applied the internet, drink, and obc to my account after checking with the host.
