Earliest Time to Depart from Scarlet Lady

All flights are "difficult" on ship arrival days.  The earliest you can get off the ship with self disembarkation (carrying all your own luggage) is listed as 7:30, but in reality is usually between 7 and 7:30.

Suggestion on flights--try FLL if MIA isn't any good.  Or, depending on availability, enjoy a nice breakfast and a later flight.  Or spend the night in Miami and take one of those crack of dawn flights the next day.  Check Southwest, which doesn't show up on most search engines.

The Brightline Train station is extremely close to the Miami cruise ports - Brightline serves Fort Lauderdale and West Palm and both stations are close to the airports.  Starting September 1, Brightline will run all the way to Orlando and the Orlando station will be at the airport.

I much prefer flying in and out of FLL and West Palm vs. Miami so that may help in your planning.

We have taken Brightline from Ft Lauderdale to the port, it was quite nice and easy. You can book Uber to the port as part of your train ticket and the driver was waiting at the station when we got off the train. Less than 10 minutes to cross the bridge and get dropped off.

We are waiting impatiently to be able to take it from Orlando. Not a huge time saver but significantly better than driving!

Hi!  Can anyone share the earliest time we can depart to get to the airport?  I am flying out the 28th of August.  Flights are difficult from Miami to Memphis.

If all goes smoothly on arrival, you should be able to start walking off at or about 7am if you have Self Disembark.

I'm seriously considering it for our November Valiant sailing. I like the idea of not having to drive 3 1/2 hours each way. 🙂
