Looking for a Honeymoon Cruise

Hello everyone

 

My partner and I have been on several cruises over the years, and when we tie the knot in 2025, we're looking to spend our honeymoon on yet another cruise!

 

We're looking to cruise out of Miami, and would be keen to visit St Maarten, Aruba, and maybe Cuba - if possible. We're quiet outgoing party people and so we're looking for a cruise that maximises our time in each port, so we can experience a wee bit of the nightlife. We've also found on most of the crusies we've done before, the nightlife on the ship wasn't as popular as we would have liked, with him and I being often the only folks in the nightclub dancing in the evenings!

 

If anyone has any suggestions, or recommendations for:

- Cruise lines / ships where there is a more chance of folks being up for a bit of a dance and a party

- Cruise lines that go to these ports

- Cruise lines that go to any of these ports overnight

No cruise line has ships currently going to Cuba.  If they do in 2025, you will be restricted to only certain areas. But that will depend upon US Administration and a return to the "people to people" visits.  Current easing of restrictions are not yet including the program.

Look to one of the upscale lines like Azamara, Celebrity, or Regents to see if their overnight stops are in the ports you want to visit.   You will not get an Aruba stop and a St Maarten stop on the same cruise.

Look at RCI Explorer for their 10 or 11 nighter in March 2025 out of Miami. A couple of great itineraries.

If a cruise ship goes to Cuba, it will only go to Cuba as part of an Educational Exchange Program.  You cannot travel to Cuba as a tourist.  It has to be under the guise of an educational exchange program.
