Cost of taxi

Hi all,

looking at an excursion and I have to make my way to their site.  They are offering a round trip taxi for $80 from the cruise port to Jolly Harbour.  Just seems excessive based on taxis on other islands.  Is this in line?  The taxi cost is the same as the excursion

This is the current private taxi fare, plus tip.

If seeking transport at a lower price point, then consider shared minibus (pre COVID it was about $10/12 pp e/w, plus tip), or Public Transport Link…. (US $ taken)

Is that $40 dollars each way USD? Do you know how long the ride is from the cruise port to Catherine's Cafe?

US$40.00 - per cab - each way - plus tip

If many ships are in port allow 45 minutes out because of heavy port traffic.

On return to be very, very safe, allow 60 minutes.

Book one’s lunch/day in advance.  
Catherine’s is a Restaurant providing beds etc for it’s paying customers.

When viewing the menus, prices are in Eastern Caribbean Dollars.

An easy mental guide to convert ECD to US$, divide the ECD by 2, then deduct 20%
