How far is the Japanese garden from where the shop dock.

I am onboard the Emerald Princess now and we arrive Hilo tomorrow.  I am thinking of walking to the Japanese gardens from the dock.  It looks like an easy walk.  Anyone know the distance or time to walk? Thanks.

Google Maps shows it as a 30 minute,1.6 mile walk.
