jame_g Posted August 11, 2023 #1 Share Posted August 11, 2023 VV currently has the promotion for booking by Aug 22 and getting $500 per cabin plus up to $600 bar tab for cruises from Miami through Apr 2024. I already have a cruise from Miami booked and fully paid for in January. If I contact them, are they likely to add the bar tab to my existing reservation?
Rare cantgetin Posted August 11, 2023 #2 Share Posted August 11, 2023 We were able to cancel and rebook to get a new promotion. I've never heard of them just adding a promotion that came along later. We do not have the bar tab on our upcoming cruise which we booked a year ago. The only way we could get it would be to cancel and rebook, but the price has increased to the point that this doesn't make sense. If you used a TA, contact them and get their response--but I don't think it will work. Doesn't hurt to ask, I guess. You probably got some sort of promotion on your existing booking, so do compare the current booking cost vs. your cost, 2
Rare CruisingWalter Posted August 14, 2023 #3 Share Posted August 14, 2023 As mentioned above, you'll have to cancel and rebook to get the current promotions. VV does not add things like Bar Tab or additional money off. That $500 off per cabin has been running for a while, it's already baked into the prices you see online.
Lustate Posted August 14, 2023 #4 Share Posted August 14, 2023 Depending on how you want to play the game... On the 22nd the end of the current offer, on the 23rd you might get a better offer for you based on what is available.
