UK Amex Seabourn Offer

Has anyone successfully used their “spend £1000 on Seabourn and receive £150 back” offer if money paid to travel agent but showing on credit card system as Seabourn?

 

Offer states “book direct at Seabourn.com”

 

Have offer on three cards and can make early final payments to TA if offer works that way.

We were too late to use it for our Seabourn cruise but used the offer for final payment of a Regent cruise and it worked perfectly. The £150 was credited to each card within a week.

 

I rang our travel agent and she made the direct payment to Regent with our Amex cards. So you would need to check whether yours is able/willing to do this.

Yup worked for me.

I paid £1000 off our upcoming cruise. Although the TA took the payment it showed as Seabourn on my Amex statement. And the £150 credit was posted underneath.

Pleased to read that it worked with your TAs  - I had thought to post that you would get more than £150  off using a TA than booking direct.

I already have 4 bookings with my TA.

 

Just looking to pay some off my final payments in advance if offer works 😀

In USA Amex is offering 5X point with a cap at 50,000.

It processes quickly; we were able to take advantage of this and received the 50K points within a couple days of making payment.  And while it stated "new bookings only" we got the credit for final payment on bookings we had deposits on.

Yes and they run this also for Oceania and Silversea too.
