Showers in Gym or Spa?

We’ve cruises Disney and one of our “tricks” was to use the showers in the gym locker room rather than in our state room. Way more spacious and luxurious!

Can we utilize the same trick on VV? Does the gym have a locker room with showers?

No, but the shower in your cabin will be much better than the ones in the tubs on Disney. This ship is made for grown ups.  The ceilings are high enough and there is both a wand and a rainfall shower head.

There are a couple of showers on the pool deck by the hot tubs, but those are for rinse off in swim suits.

There are no locker rooms associated with the gym on Virgin ships. The gym itself has small lockers for personal items but that's it. The spa of course has showers but unlike other cruiseships or even land based hotel or resort spas the locker rooms are coed/unisex/communal with a shared locker area for your personal things and individual changing rooms and individual private shower rooms that are accessed from a communal area. What's more the spa along with the communal locker/shower/changing areas costs money to use and are not part of the regular cruise fare.
