The good news is that you don't have to drink a full bottle of Pol Acker any more, because they only give you a HALF BOTTLE! and that's in QG.

 

Apparently, it was reduced about 2 months ago.

Yes, on our cruise in June there was a half bottle awaiting us in the cabin. 
 

But then nearing the end of the week’s cruise…another one appeared! 😮

On their website it still state that in QG A bottle of Champagne and box of chocolates to celebrate your arrival is provided.

I expect the half bottle is in addition to the full bottle of Champagne as usual.

On the QE in June we received the promised bottle of Champagne in QG. A few days later a half bottle of PA with a note from the Cunard World Club appeared. We left it unopened.

 

The year before we had the same Alaska cruise in PG. We had a bottle of an Italian bubbly called Contessa. It was far superior to PA.

Yes, that is correct. A bottle of Lauren Perrier Champagne, and a box of two (not four) Charbonnel et Walker Chocs.

sparkling stuff for us. Just the champagne. Huh. Missed out there

but

we did get a box of eight Charbonnel chocs so I guess that evens out.😄
